How has the program benefited your game?

"I grew up playing through Nahant's junior tennis program. Every summer I vividly remember playing with our amazing coaches here. I was taught how to serve correctly and drop my old pancake serve that I thought was so good, how to volley and how to play using strategy. The coaches here also showed me that tennis is a fun sport that brings people together, which I think is the most beautiful part."

-Nikki Carr (14 years old, April 2024)

FAQ

FAQ

I am having technical difficulties and/or have a special request, who do I contact?

Please contact us: info@nahanttennis.org

Who will communicate important program announcements such as rain delays?

We strive to communicate rain delays as soon as possible. If you signed up for an 8:30am session, you will be notified no later than 7:30am that respective day. Make-up sessions are at the discretion of the Head Coach.

What should my child bring to camp?

The summer on the courts can be quite hot. We advise that your child have plenty of water, a snack, sunscreen, closed-toe sneakers, and a hat. Each child should bring a tennis racquet. Water fountains and bathrooms are available on-site.

There are so many different sized tennis racquets, how do I choose?

Please reference this link: Choosing a Racquet. Racquets can be purchased online, at Dick’s Sporting Goods or Walmart.

How should payment be made?

Nahant Tennis only accepts checks for junior program payment. Checks should be made out to 'Nahant Tennis' and mailed to: Nahant Tennis, P.O. Box 90, Nahant, MA 01908. If paying for multiple sessions, please include full payment on one check.
