The main event will be held on Saturday July 13th beginning at 8:30 AM at the Nahant Tennis Inc clay courts at 280 Nahant Rd., Nahant, MA 01908. (Sunday rain date). Festivities will begin with a morning introduction of honored guests including Olympic silver medalist and former World top ten player, Tim Mayotte, as well as Sears and Dwight family members, North Shore tennis legend Avis Murray, and representation from the United States Tennis Association (USTA).

This will be followed at 9 AM by a friendly round robin doubles tournament played in Victorian dress with wooden rackets. A box lunch will be served at the Nahant Country Club at noon, and will feature a talk on tennis history in Nahant and the US by Tim. Various awards honoring the occasion will also be presented. Afterward, Tim will be playing an exhibition match with three of Nahant’s top juniors, followed by some related tennis activities.

We welcome players and spectators alike! The round robin on our four clay courts will be limited to 32 players (men and women). Sign up individually: different partners for each of the three rounds of four no-add games will be chosen at the event.
